Chair Loan Service Before Purchase

A test run? Why not.

Le Papetier Le Libraire offers you a chair loan program before purchase. If you’re familiar with the model you want to buy, it’s pretty easy. But sometimes, even our experts’ advice isn’t enough to decide between one model and another. A field test is then ideal, especially for an ergonomic chair.

• You have back problems and need to work while maintaining an ideal posture. A small detail in the backrest can make all the difference.
• Several people will be using the same chair, such as in a conference room or a shared workstation over multiple shifts. It’s only natural to want everyone’s opinion.
• You want to “test” your comfort and the adjustments for a few days — a fabric backrest vs a mesh backrest, etc.

Which models can I borrow?

We mostly loan ergonomic chairs we have in stock, as these are generally the models our customers want to try. It’s possible to borrow only one model at a time.

How long is the loan period?

We loan the chair for a period of 3 days.

Are there any fees or deposits required?

This loan and delivery service is offered free of charge to customers in the Lanaudière region and eastern Montreal. Certain exceptions may apply.

A security deposit will be required from consumers and businesses without a customer account. This deposit does not apply to our commercial customers.

If I want to buy it, do I keep the chair you loaned me?

In some cases, yes. In other cases, we will need to order the chair to provide you with customized options: choice of fabrics, armrests, casters, etc.

What should I do if I want to borrow a model?

You must first make an appointment in-store, where a consultant will identify the model that best suits your needs and budget.

We will then deliver the chair to your workplace or home and contact you for the next steps. You don’t need to worry about transportation.

Is a phone consultation possible?

Yes, we will then send you the model that best suits you for testing.
