Textured Spoon

ARK's Flat Textured Spoons feature a very thin profile, making them ideal for individuals with limited lip control or difficulty removing food from a spoon. Use them to introduce texture into purees, such as yogurt, applesauce, or stage 1 baby foods. These spoons are textured on one side and smooth on the other. Present the spoon with the textured side up to stimulate the upper lip, or down to stimulate the lower lip and tongue. Use the lined end for light stimulation, or the bumpy end for more intense stimulation. You can also start with the lines and gradually progress to the bumps to increase tactile input.
