Perry Mastrovito born in Montreal, is an award-winning professional photographer since more than 30 years and is based in Laval, Quebec. Inspired since his youth by the natural and built environments, Perry also studied graphic arts, printing and commercial photography before starting his career. His photos are frequently published in various large format calendars and have appeared in numerous magazines and publications that include Canadian Gardening, Montreal Gazette, House Beautiful, Les Idées de Ma Maison, Continuité, Early Homes, Cabin Living, Log Cabin Homes , Log Home Living, Architectural Digest.com, Time Inc, Gartenflora etc. He also shoots in his studio and in various parts of the world, conceptual and editorial images which are represented by several of the major international stock photo agencies.Perry is the author of four other coffee-table books: “Images du Québec”, “Old Homes of Quebec”, “Quebec's Cities and Regions”, and “Private Gardens of Quebec” for which he received the prestigious 2015 Silver Award of Achievement in the book photography category from the Garden Writers Association. In October of this year, he received a ‘2016 Honorable Mention' award for his coffee-table book Old Homes of Quebec following his participation in the ‘International Photography Awards 2016' photography contest sponsored by the Lucie Foundation in the USA.
